I Once Was Held For 1,000 Years – Performance

“I once was held for 1,000 years” is a chronicle, a conversation, a communion, and a christening told in four parts. The Becoming, The Reflection, The Shedding, and The Retrieval. Etukudo combines sound, projection, readings from her journals and her poetry collection to give voice to the past, present, and future; before birth, during life, and after death.

Performed at New Art Exchange. 2021.
