A writer in many aspects, she has work in forms of essays, poetry, short stories, and both stage and screenplays. She has had many accomplishments in her writing career including publication in the literary journal Bartleby, production of her play HAPPY by the Interrobang Theater Company, and an internship with GeekInsider as a staff writer. She has also written and directed many short plays and films, including the play Milk that was showcased at the UMBC 24hour playfest and the short film Blackbird that was showcased at the Light Struck Student Film Festival.

Inspired by Chinua Achebe’s “Things Fall Apart” and the work of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, she wants to pursue a future in fiction writing.
